Rendered Speechless

Silence is a space that nourishes my entire being.

The most  beautiful connections blossom in silence.  My Spirit soars, creative expression surges, truth rises, life unfolds.

We tend to layer a moment with small talk, with busyness, with obligation.  To release those layers and allow full presence is to honor Divine as it is presented.  The Divine in me, the Divine in you, the Divine in World.

The magic moment…

when Presence and Abundance…

To patiently wait for the delicate beauty of this moment

to be imprinted upon your heart

is to affirm flow with your presence.

When you cultivate silence,

you are allowing ample space and time for the answer to rise organically.

Sunshine penetrates barriers,

illuminating heart whispers.

Silence ripens heart whispers,

stories unfold.

What heart whisper of yours is waiting patiently for the time and space to rise, for the silence to set it free?

This article was inspired by a writing prompt from Jess Morrow’s Invincible Summer e-course…we were asked to describe a time when we were left speechless.  I could think of many oppressive times, but for me, the above shares my heart’s answer: rendered speechless by nature’s beauty and the gift of this moment.

Much peace and abundant love,

Reminder: Experiment. Explore.  Experience.

  1. Aaaaah, what a nice way to start my day. Thanks Joy,

When I slow down, nature often offers me a touch of sweet silence, peace, beauty & being. For now, I am centered in my heart space.

    blessings, Brad

    • Thank you, Brad, for sharing a reflection that feels peaceful, refreshing, and very much heart-centered :)

May that abundance of spirit continue to stay with you throughout the day…and infuse your creations and connections :)

  2. Oh Joy, how I love the speechless moments nature brings me. It may sound weird, but I like to share those moments with someone, but in silence. That just never seems to happen – it becomes yakety-yak or a continual commentary on the beauty of it all.

    • Thank you for your wonderful reflection, suZen! The moments when one shares beauty in silence with another are priceless (and yes, rare!). For me, that type of connecting is as enlivening as all that nature presents. I don’t think it’s weird, I think it is absolutely magnificent, and I am grateful to you for reminding me how precious those moments and those connections truly are :)

  3. This is gorgeous … the photos, the words, all of it. So grateful to you for each word. xo

I love that you chose to go it the direction of being rendered silent by the beauty of a moment, and not the other more negative things that you could have written about! But that is not surprising to me—–it is who you are, the beautiful Joy I have come to know over the last year, the one who is continually opening up her heart and her whole being. I love the writing and the photographs. Thank you for sharing the silence with us. Love and hugs to you!

    • Thank you, Jean, for sharing your wonderful energy and for the kind words :)

What we focus on grows, so I choose to grow positive…not to avoid or ignore “negative”, but to understand its presence, learn, and integrate the lesson into my being…so..silence to me used to be foreboding, as it came before chaos *and* typically was used a discipline in my life…

*Now* silence truly is golden and a gift to share with others :)

*grin* I do tend to follow my heart, which sometimes leads me in opposite directions from others :)

  5. Lovely Joy, thanks for sharing. Sounds like a wonderful course.
