28 Days of Connection: Brian Lottman

Welcome to Day Three of 28 Days of Connection: Love Celebration!

It is a delight to introduce you to Brian Lottman.

Here is an excerpt from Brian’s about page:

Brian Lottman travels around the US and Canada inspiring people to open their hearts to the beauty of spirituality. How do we awaken those divine principles of love, peace and joy within our being? Brian is a spiritual counselor, motivational speaker, and energy healer.

I had the unexpected pleasure of meeting Brian about one month ago – when I attended a satsang he was hosting.  Being in the energy of that space, listening to Brian’s message and absorbing the feel of kirtan was heart-enriching. I hadn’t attended anything locally that was so powerful.

I listened to Brian as he shared his experience of being love, in this world, on his current path. When I returned home, I asked him to participate in this series. He responded back with a “yes!” including his answers – which shows he lives his passion and purpose and generously, without hesitation, shares that.

I have since attended two of Brian’s  livestream satsangs (for more information, check his Facebook page – listed below) and one (in-person) today before writing this. You have heard me say previously I would love to travel world with my message and when my children are “set on their path” after high school, I will.

To meet someone living the path I wish to explore is fascinating to me. Brian patiently answered all of my questions about his practice and his current way of being and the experience of this month very much affirmed and enlivened my own intentions to live with my heart wide-open, centered in gratitude and love.

Here is a very short video of Brian leading kirtan, chanting the holy mantra, So Ham, “I am That.”

If you are unable to view the video in this space, please click here to view on youtube.

Here are Brian’s answers:

1. What is your definition of love?

Love is purity of heart and fullness of Being. When everyone and everything is inside of me.

2. What does it feel like when you are connected with love?

You and I are gone. There is only Light. Warmth, kindness, tenderness, beauty.

3. In your opinion, why would one choose to close to love? From that closed space, what is one practice or step a person could take to open to love again?

One closes to Love when selfishness enters the Heart. When closed, try serving someone.

4. How do you choose to cultivate love?

Cultivate love by praying for others, contemplating how much love there is in the world, and remember how much one has to be grateful for.

5. May you share an experience of receiving unconditional love?

My spiritual Teacher, Svami Purna, comes to share His Divine Grace.

6. What would you like us to know about love?

Love can be held when we empty ourselves of all thoughts and feelings of love. Surrendering our highest state of love allows us to experience deeper states of love. Give God one’s heart, and it shall be cleansed.

A satsang with Brian is the joining together to experience a greater communion with Truth.

Sitting with Brian, spiritual seekers have an opportunity to uncover powerful states of love, joy, and peace and experience deeper states of consciousness and meditation. He plays the harmonium and leads kirtan.

Brian renounced his worldly life and set out on a two year journey across the US, sharing the precious knowledge he’s learned along the way.

Brian is deeply supported by the Grace of his spiritual Teacher, Sri Sri Sri Svami Purna Maharaj.

    • Thank you for your presence and affirmation, Caroline!

I would add to this *when your heart is closed, serve someone*, to turn your attention inward to serve ‘self’ as well as outward to serve others/world….

      Love and light to you!
