Dancing in Divine Dust: 30-day Photo Exploration of Infinite Possibility

dancing-in-divine-dust-1

celebrating light,

dancing in divine dust.

What lights your heart?

What would you create, with whom would you connect, if you allowed love of exploration and connection to be your guide?

It’s a cyclical, whirling, full of motion cyclean invitation to cultivate, listen to, and create all that your heart whispers….

Not an A to B to C  “step here, next step there” …

Simply a “come as you are, right where you are” request for you to join us:

Dance in divine dust.

Sharing Steps and Reflections Through Creative Expression

Something *magical* happens when we connect through creative expression.

While mind is busy with the details of the expression – technique, composition, color, angle, light, perspective – heart is celebrating the joy of the process.

The energy is often a mix of vulnerability and faith – confident in our process, unsure of where sharing will lead, while certain that energetic doors are opening, not knowing where they will lead or what will unfold…

Divine Dust.

I create the sacred container of space for this project – through energetic intention, daily prompts, and affirmation of your creative expressions…

….however, the dynamics of the student energy, expressions, willingness to share depth and range…will determine the quality of this class.

So, we really won’t know what shape the class will take, what it will feel like, what energetic doors will open, until we choose to step, individually and together.

As I facilitate and cultivate the energy on the class path, you are invited to experiment and explore with your unique steps, choosing to walk solo and / or a few steps together…

This is your dance…in divine dust

May we learn to celebrate the joy of each step, as we create and connect.

Class Format

My role in this class is as to guide you to explore depth and range as you look into your life and choose moments of magic to share with us within this group.

I will share daily prompts and I will facilitate the group Flickr page.

(I will not be teaching photography.)

The intention of this class is to provide a forum to share creative expression through exploration of the concept of dancing in divine dust.

The structure of this class is that of a sacred container, a space of unconditional love and gratitude, in which we all feel comfortable exploring and experimenting.

While exploring the concept of divine dust, and dancing within it, with awareness, we are in essence cultivating the feel of connecting with Source and the reality of infinite possibility.  We understand that, in response, we may feel an energetic shift, perhaps opening new heart space and moving us into new physical space.

It is my experience that what we focus on grows.  When we choose to focus on clarity, perspective, beauty, light, texture, depth, range, we invite those energetic elements into our physical life and external opens to accommodate this flow.

When we choose to focus on these energetic elements in a fun way (such as through photography), we are choosing to grow with ease and joy.

List of Collaborators

While dancing solo is fun, I fully believe that dancing with others amplifies the joy as well as the potential range and depth of physical movement and energetic expansion.

I am a heart-healer who teaches presence and facilitates clarity and energy movement.  I take heart-work very seriously.

I had two very specific, very different, requirements for collaborators: to have moxie and spirit and passion; to be extremely talented writers who use words in ways that enliven.

My intention is to engage your mind as your heart celebrates and these writers are the collaborators encouraging us to dance in divine dust:

Jodi Lobozzo Aman – Heal Now and Forever

Cheryl Chaverria – The Convivial Woman

Michelle Dobbins  –  Daily Alchemy

Otiti Jasmine – Radiant Soul Space

Claire Lopez – I’ve Been There, Claire

Tess Marshall –  The Bold Life

Evita Ochel –Consciousness Expansion Teacher

Unity J Schmidt – Healing with Unity

Heather Shafer – To Live Inspired

Nicole Tilde – Dream-Speak

May I Enroll in Class if I Don’t Want to Share Photographs

A consistent question I receive from prospective students considering my photo journey classes is:

What if I don’t have a camera or I don’t want to share my photographs in the forum–may I still enroll in this class?

Yes! – and this is why: the class is written with presence to unfolding, progressing from the beginning steps of setting an intention and clearing space to the “ending steps” of sharing in the forum.

If one simply receives the prompts and contemplates the meaning and feel of each concept, there is potential to learn presence and apply it to any area of life

If you choose not to experience the added depth of connecting through creative process, and of sharing affirmations of  that process with others, you will still be “dancing in divine dust”, and if you change your mind during the session, you may always add your photos at that time.

Supplies

A device to capture photos with–this can range from your phone camera to a point and shoot camera.  (Please know that my photos are taken with a Droid phone camera–when my mind says “not enough”, my heart says, yes please, and when I am present to the process, the perceived limitations of my equipment fall right away).

The ability to post photos on our Flikr group page.

Time to capture and share a photo a day.

A belief in the possibility that magic is real.

Details

While there is no formal coaching in this program, I do weave energetic and principles into all that I practice and share.  I fully understand that each prompt, and this entire process of “immersion into magic”, is an exercise in trust-building and faith.

The daily prompts are suggestions to keep the class on a similar theme for that day. For example, one day we might focus on the color red, another might be reflections, another might be water.  These suggestions allow us to experience different perspectives within the same theme (again, an opportunity for expansion).

It is not necessary to join the Flickr group; however, part of the joy of this class is viewing the theme through other’s eyes.  The group is a place for sharing and affirming, not critiquing quality and content, but to visually see and feel the magical moments of those in the class.

Scholarships

There is currently one full scholarship no scholarships available.  I will update this status as registration continues.

If you are interested in receiving or providing a scholarship, please email me at joy@facetsofjoy.com

No-Refund Policy

There is a no-refund policy on this class.

When we work in heart space, sometimes fear arises.  Understandable and extremely common.

When fear arises, we often react, by pushing away the source of love (in this case, this class).

When you choose to register to Dancing in Divine Dust you are acknowledging that you are ready to open your heart space to journey to inner core.  Much like an airline ticket is non-refundable, so is this class.

Thank you!

I am so excited!  This class combines my passions–photography, connection through creative expression, and magic.

Your presence is vital to the energy and existence of this forum.  I appreciate your choice to walk a few energetic steps together and I very much look forward to all that you have to share!

Much peace and abundant love,

Joy

Reminder: Unravel. Unfurl.  Unfold.
