28 Days of Connection: Navjit Kandola

Welcome to Day Eleven of this series!

It is a delight to introduce you to Navjit Kandola.

Here is an excerpt from Navjit’s about page:

To say ‘I love my work’ would be a grand understatement. My work is my passion, my whole heart.

  • I have lived on 3 continents (Asia, Europe and North America)
  • I live as a sensualist
  • I am drawn to life and its complexities like a detective
  • I am an ordained minister
  • Love is my credo.

At age 23, I left my home in the UK and traveled to New Mexico to learn about life, karma and God at the Nizhoni School for Global Consciousness. I discovered, to my delight, a whole technology of consciousness that created distinctions, such as structures of consciousness, thought forms and conclusions, holographic awareness and much more.

The best part of studying at Nizhoni was that as I learned about my own thought forms and conclusions, vows, etc., I realized that my sense and experience of the world was filtered and being interpreted by these constrictions in ideas and beliefs. The more aware I became of the fears and beliefs, the more freedom I had to engage with life to learn, to live and create. This time was critical in creating a more compassionate, understanding, innovative me.

My life has taught me that you can create miracles (give), you can be a manifester (act), you can be a hero (embrace) and you can create your own life (engage).

I love Navjit’s energy and message! I “met her” through Danielle LaPorte’s work a few years back. Danielle was shooting a video after an event and Navjit was in the background so Danielle invited her into the “spotlight”. I was immediately drawn to her wise, gentle, compassionate energy and generous, fun spirit.

Navjit is a wonderful guide; each of her messages speak straight to my inner core. I am inspired to continue to explore and to open my heart ever further.

I wished for you to experience Navjit’s energy, so I asked her to share an audio gift with us. Please click here to listen to Essence of Love.

Here are Navjit’s answers:

1. What is your definition of love?

Love is wonderful. It makes our lives rich and purpose filled. It is cosmic intelligence.

2. What does it feel like when you are connected with love?

Being connected with love allows us to feel fulfilled, lit from within. And if we were to meditate on that feeling of love, we would dissolve doubts, fears and hurts. It is through connecting with love that we expand what it means to be humans.

3. In your opinion, why would one choose to close to love? From that closed space, what is one practice or step a person could take to open to love again?

We choose to close to love because we are in transforming. What in one instance feels like a thousand reasons to close to love, in another instance becomes the very source of our healing. We are always moving in love but we don’t realise that because we cannot see it through the lens of the soul’s wisdom. Love is ever present.

When we do find ourselves in that closed space, it is important to bring light to that closed heart, to remember that we must choose what we want life to be about. We must remember that we have a choice. That is the greatest tool we possess – we have free will and can therefore CHOOSE love at any point.

4. How do you choose to cultivate love?

I choose to cultivate love through the channels of kindness and compassion. I know that each day I can rise above the noise of struggle and fear by moving into the quiet embrace of love, light and the present. I think that by practicing being kind to myself I can better love others, so I speak to myself in a kind and patient voice, I listen to my being without judgement and this in turn allows me to be a loving person to those who come into my life. I choose love as my altar and prayer.

5. May you share an experience of receiving unconditional love?

I sought unconditional love for so long in my life – wanting to be accepted for who I was, nourished just in the way I needed to be nourished. But somehow, it was never quite right or quite enough. Until one day, I just got tired of waiting and tired of making others the cause of my dissatisfactions and yearnings. I realized that if I wanted to experience unconditional love I needed to accept others and love them just as they were.

But that did not work out so much for me because, I could not love everyone just as they were and in that I learned that I was judgemental and conditional when it came to love.

Over time, I began to accept my own short comings and those of others. And with that the conversation of needing to be loved unconditionally dissipated.

Driving on an endless road through the desert, listening to my son’s giggles – in such moments I feel complete peace and such gratitude.

6. What would you like us to know about love?

Love is a treasure that is ours to share. Let us seed love like Johnny Appleseed, gloriously and joyously.
